Distressed End Table

This item has been sold
This end table was already adorable. But my customer just wanted to make it blend with her other furnishings a bit better. The stain color was making it stand out like a sore thumb. So all it needed was a bit of gray paint. She chose a warm light gray. The piece already had some great distressing and dents so we just highlighted those, to keep that farmhouse chic style!

Country dining set

This item has been sold

This 5-piece dining set had seen better days. Lots of daily use had taken a toll. Not to mention the colors were feeling a bit dated. My customer wanted to use it in her dining room and knew she wanted a white/gray combo but didn’t know exactly how to incorporate that. Our solution? To lighten it up and change the color scheme. The top and the 4 chairs were painted gray. The table skirt and pedestal went white.  We used a cool gray that complimented the darker gray on her walls.

Oak 3-Drawer Nightstand

This item has been sold
There was nothing structurally wrong with this cute little nightstand from Harrison Furniture. It was just the dated finish that needed to be updated. I did that with a warm soft taupe chalk paint.

Beach House Chic Dining Table

IMG_7973
This table was brought to me by a customer who owned a beach house rental. It wasn’t in the worst shape ever, but it needed a little sprucing up. The problem was, it had to be renter friendly since it was going to take a beating. She chose this warm, pale gray, which is PERFECT for a beach house rental, and then I distressed the edges just a bit. That way, if the renters started beating it up, no one would know!

Solid Oak Vintage Dresser

One of my customer’s was able to get her hands on this amazing, solid oak, vintage dresser and she knew a good thing when she saw it. All it needed was a fresh color and some new knobs! She settled on this beautiful grayish green color from Sherwin Williams called Oyster Bay. After adding some new crystal knobs, the piece was a knockout!

My customer had a gorgeous wall mirror with a metallic finish that had sustained some damage during a recent move. Since it wasn’t repairable we decided to go for something entirely different.

Rustic Nightstand

This item has been sold image
I’ll be honest, this very rustic nightstand had some issues with it when I found it. The chalk paint finish on the legs felt, well…..chalky. The sides were starting to split a bit. And the top had some nail pops. In my world, none of those things are necessarily horrible. But there was definitely room for improvement!

Small maple table

This item has been soldimage
Beautiful, simple, modern…..that’s what I see when I look at this rectangular maple table. I can picture it in a breakfast area, a craft room, a playroom (for homework!!), or even as a desk. My customer requested a pale gray paint (just a tiny hint of it), and a dark top. The results were incredible. I painted her chairs to match and then reupholstered the seat cushions with a classic stripe, gray & white fabric.  It’s the perfect size for her small breakfast area!

Pine End Table

This item has been sold IMG_8047This little beauty didn’t need much.  It’s solid wood, and very sturdy.  But the orange stain really needed to go.  I updated it with a bright white (Benjamin Moore’s Chantilly Lace), highlighted the details with gray glaze, and then lightly distressed the edges.  Now you don’t have to worry so much when your 4 year runs his toys into it over and over again.  He’ll be adding to the patina!
