DIMENSIONS: 22″ tall, 27″ deep, 22″ wide
PAINT: Rustoleum Painter’s Touch Ultra Cover 2X
STAIN: Rustoleum Ultimate Wood Stain in Kona. I’m really loving this color and using it a lot these days. It’s darker than Minwax’s Dark Walnut, but less black than their Ebony. Perfect!

PRICE: $125

What I love most about this end table is the good bones. Yeah, I know you probably hear that saying a lot these days but there’s a reason for that! It’s what I always looking for when scouting for pieces that are in need of some loving. Because if it has good bones, then it’s worth the effort involved in bringing it back to life. This little baby definitely has them. It’s a nice, solid piece, with not particleboard, no MDF, no laminate…..all solid wood. Love that!
After stripping the top and sanding it smooth I gave it a nice dark wash of Kona stain. After that it got sealed with some dark brown paste wax to further enhance the rich color. The wax adds just the right amount of sheen, and after a few days of curing it’s super durable too. It’s a win win!
The bottom received a nice, satin coat of bright white, but then I lightly distressed all the corners and edges. Now you don’t have to worry when you bang into it and knick the corner….it’ll just add to the beauty. I also replaced the vintage pulls and added some oil rubbed bronze cup pulls. This added a little modern touch.
