I just love custom orders. It’s so interesting to see the paint & stain colors, and/or fabric choices that my customers choose. This customer ended up loving how my last Duncan Phyfe dining table turned out and requested something very similar. A pale gray on the pedestals, and a dark brown or mahogany on the top. And luckily, I was able to score a fantastic table that included a 10″ leaf, so it’ll be much more versatile! This will be my 3rd Duncan Phyfe table and I have to say, I love them more and more every day. If only they’d stick around long enough for me to keep one!
So I have exciting news about this table! My customer is currently filming an episode of HGTV’s House Hunters and will be using this table in her dining room. So I’m hoping we’ll get a peek of it when they show the ‘After’ shot…..when they visit with the couple after they’re all moved in and situated in their new home. I’ll update y’all with a time and date to watch! It should be somewhere around May or June 2014, so stay tuned.
