Yes, this island started out a bit sad looking. But after stripping and restaining the top, adding a fresh coat of white paint, and topping it off with some casters, a new drawer pull, and giving the drawer interior a fresh pop of aqua, it’ll fit into any modern kitchen.  Lots of room for storage – baskets, cookbooks, serving pieces or even pots & pans.  And with the casters you can move it out of the way when not in use!
