Oak coffee table – Painted base

This item has been soldOak coffee table - painted legs

This sturdy little thing looked a little, well, 80s. With a golden oak, glossy finish. Yuck. The top got stripped and sanded smooth, and the base got a shot of watery blue paint. For a final, finishing touch, I added a coat of SC Johnson Finishing Paste Wax to the top. That helps to protect the wood, from well, everything. And it gives it a nice, matte finish. Hello 2013!!
