This chair was a Goodwill score, which for me at least, are very few and far between. Most of the (very limited) furniture selections at all of the Goodwill stores in my NC area are junk. Lots of pressed wood, laminate furniture, or upholstered pieces that have seen their better days. But this time I found this great, solid wood accent chair. I can picture it nestled next to a foyer table in an entry way, as a great place to sit and put your shoes on. Or maybe sitting in the corner of your dining room, for when you need a little extra seating. Then there’s always the old stand by – using it as a desk chair. I painted the chair a neutral sand color, and then distressed the edges just a bit to give it some dimension. The fabric is burlap-colored (but soft!), with teal blue design.
