Gorgeous, solid wood coffee table and end table set. Really pretty details on the legs. They started with a horrible orangey polyurethaned finish, but I transformed them with a pale greenish blue paint from Behr called Frozen Pond. The tops got a dark walnut stain topped with polycrylic for durability.

Pine 3-piece table set
What a change with these 3, pine pieces! With some paint, stain, and a little strategic distressing, these boring pieces went from blah to cottage chic! My customer’s pieces were tired and a little beat up. Not a good match for her new custom built home. The original plan was to make them pop with one of my favorite colors, Quaint Village Green. But with a house full of 4 small kids we knew they’d take a lot of abuse and decided on stain for the top. The weathered gray stain will take all the abuse they’ll be able to throw at them and probably look even better in the long run! The baskets got a new lease on life as well, with some glossy white paint.

Modern Cube style end table
So one of my BFFs is building a new “dream” house and this is one of the very few items that’s sticking around for the move. The problem was, it needed an extreme makeover. Out with anything modern, or dark, and in with the ‘Cottage Chic’ style!
