This 5-piece dining set had seen better days. Lots of daily use had taken a toll. Not to mention the colors were feeling a bit dated. The top and the 4 chairs were painted gray. The table skirt and pedestal went white. We used a cool gray that complimented the darker gray on her walls.

Pine Country Table w/Drawer
This country pine kitchen table, from Southern Furniture, was updated with some canvas colored paint, a tiny bit of distressing, and a really cute, vintage looking knob on the drawer. I painted these chairs the same color, and they make the perfect set for your kitchen or breakfast nook!
This table has a handy little drawer in one end. It’s the perfect place to stash your napkins so that they’re within reach, but out of sight.

Rock Maple table with 4 chairs
Solid rock maple kitchen or dining room table. If you’re looking for a super solid, durable table to withstand years of hard use, then this is the table for you. The legs are a glossy, light gray. For the top I did a paint wash, which is a mix of part water, part paint. This gave it just the right shade of gray, so you can still see the beautiful wood. The set of 4 matching chairs have been updated with the same paint as the table base, new foam and designer fabric in the same gray tones. All pieces are solid wood, which is hard to find these days!

Maple butcher block table
You’ve probably seen a million of these tables in your lifetime right? Or owned at least one. I know I have. I just wish, before I got rid of mine, I had taken the time to make it look like this! How great would this look in a beach house?! It goes with so many decors. Beachey, shabby chic, cottage. This would even look great with some upholstered benches on either side. Or what about a craft room table….a desk….so many possibilities.
When I found this it had that orangey golden tone all over, that polyurethane gets with age. So it was all stripped down to bare wood. The top got a driftwood colored stain. And the base got one of my favorites, ColorPlace, by Sherwin Williams-Quaint Village Green. I’m not really sure why they call it green because it’s much more of a blue shade. It totally reminds me of beach glass…watery blue with a tiny hint of green.
