I scored big on this table. The owners were practically giving it away. But as you can probably imagine, that was for good reason. It was in rough, and I mean ROUGH, shape.

Oval Rustic Coffee Table
This table was brought to me by a customer who wanted to update it from cream, to black. The finish was extremely rough and you could see lots of brush strokes. I stripped off 3 layers of paint and smoothed out the surface as much as possible, then coated it with a warm black paint. A little distressing along the edges helped give it that rustic, lived in look. I left a little bit of the old paint underneath so that it would show through on the distressed edges. Very shabby chic!

Pine End Table
This little beauty didn’t need much. It’s solid wood, and very sturdy. But the orange stain really needed to go. I updated it with a bright white (Benjamin Moore’s Chantilly Lace), highlighted the details with gray glaze, and then lightly distressed the edges. Now you don’t have to worry so much when your 4 year runs his toys into it over and over again. He’ll be adding to the patina!

Bombay Foyer Table
I’m in love with this little entry foyer table, with it’s rope legs, and pineapple details. I chose Teal Lake for it, after using this color on a recent Custom Order and loving it! I knew that some mocha glaze layered on top would really make the details stand out. This would be perfect in your entry foyer, in a hallway or maybe even a nightstand in your guest bedroom.

Depression Era oak table
This vintage, oak kitchen table has definitely been around the block a few times. The former owner thought it might be from the 1920s, and I suspect that’s correct because of the “Depression Era” style of the legs.
The veneer (which is typical for the period) is peeling off, and chipped, and something or someone, has been chewing on various parts. Once I patch up all the missing parts though, this table will be beautiful once again and hopefully it’ll be around for another 100+ years!

Round Mahogany Side Table
Vintage mahogany side table. Lots of beautiful details on this one. This shade of yellow is perfect….it’ll add a subtle pop of color, but can also read as a neutral for those of us who are sc’rd by color. The light distressing makes the fancy details stand out. It would work perfectly in so many rooms…..in the living room as an end table, in the bedroom as a nightstand, or even in the babies’ room, next to your rocker!

Mid Century Modern Dresser
Yeah, it’s done. I was really getting excited as I worked on this because I had a picture of the finished piece in my head the whole time. And I’m happy to say that it turned out just as cute as I’d imagined. I can SO see this piece in a nursery, for storing diapers, wipes, etc. I can even picture it being used as a mini linen closet in an upstairs hallway. Or you can go the standard route and use it as a……dresser. So many possibilities!
It has a beautiful, waxed finish, to protect it from all the scratches and dings, gorgeous oil rubbed bronze pulls, to add just the right amount of bling, and the sexy tapered legs have retained their natural finish, to complement the dark drawer pulls.
